Center the sleeve on the quilt backing about 1 below the binding with the seam facing toward the backing.

Using a hand needle whip stitch the bottom edge of the hanging tube to the backing fabric. Angie hodapp demonstrates how to avoid making a sleeve when you finally finish your quilt.
